The Dreamy Type...

YOUR body may wind down every night when you go to sleep, but your mind lights up with all sorts of colourful slights and sounds...your dream,of course.Dreams are a real mystery though ; scientists still only know very little about our nighttime images.
dreams can, however,be divided into several kinds.Have a look at these, and see which kinds of dreams you have most often :)

DAYDREAM
So your body is in your HISTORY class, but your mind is off receiving the ACADEMY AWARD for best actor...
daydreaming is classified as a level of consciousness between sleep and being awake.
it happened when your imagination carries you away, and you become less aware of your real surroundings.
dream interpreters believe that nightly dream symbols are also applicable to daydreams, and that the activity accesses the more creative, right side of the brain.
and did you know everyone daydreams an average of one or two hours a day?! Did anyone say, "Soooooooze!"?

FALSE AWAKENING
Have you had an experience where you though you've woken up,and gone about your morning routine - brushing your teeth, getting ready for school, eating breakfast - and the suddenly, you wake up again and realise all that was just a dream? Then, you had a false awakening dream.

NIGHTMARE
This,of course,is the villain of dreams. No one likes being scared silly while they're sleeping, and even worse, waking up feeling terrified by a bad dream. But nightmares are actually a good reflection of what's happening in our lives, and an indication that something is bugging or worrying us in real lives.
Of course, nightmares can also have simpler explanations, like sleeping in an uncomfortable position or eating too much before bed.And don't be embarrassed about waking up trembling from a monster in your dreamland...studies have found that about three quarters of dreams are negative..

LUCID DREAMS
If you've ever had a dream where you knew you were dreaming, then you've a lucid dream. Most people wake themselves up when they suddenly realise they are dreaming, but it is possible to remain aware and continue dreaming.
If you can do this, you can actually take control of your dream and do whatever you want in it.You can have lots of fun in your very own dreamscape : think up a crazy city.and it's there, imagine yourself among prehistoric creatures, and there they are;conjure up a school made of chocolates, and it's deliciously real.Your imagination is literally the limit.

RECURRING DREAMS
This is when you keep dreaming about the same storyline or theme over a long period of time.People who have been through very stressful or traumatic events sometimes have recurring dreams. In many cases, they tend to be nightmarish.
Common recurring dreams involve flying, being unable to move, losing your teeth ad drowning.Dream interpreters say the story in recurring dreams refer to an unsolved or ignored problem in your life, and once you find the solution.the dreams will stop.

PROPHETIC DREAMS
One of the most mysterious yet common perception of dreams is that it is a way for us to predict the future. While there is no scientific proof of this, there are may people who claim to have dreamt about something before it actually happened - this is what is know as a prophetic dream.
Even if you don't believe in that, one logical explanation is that your dreaming mind is able to put bits of information together before your waking mind can , therefore being able to "predict" how a situation is going to turn out. That said,I wouldn't be too confident about dreaming the questions to that upcoming exam.....
